UPDATE: On June 12, 2024, by a vote of 6-1 in favor, the Framingham Historical Commission voted that Ken’s Steak House was not a building of historical significance, and therefore the city was cleared to issue Ken’s a demolition permit. Ken’s made it clear that their intent is to remain on the site, but their path forward is to build a new structure, and demolish the old one. We have requested the plans. The application for the demolition review is below.
